Three North Texas restaurants received one Michelin star each in the 2026 Texas guide, announced October 8. The awards include Fort Worth’s first Michelin star and give the region its highest one-star total to date.
Two Dallas restaurants retained their one-star ratings, with no new Dallas restaurant added. Mamani Cuisine is among the Dallas honorees.
Michelin launched its Texas guide in 2024, covering five major cities. Mark Thompson, a senior Visit Dallas executive, said the guide helps visitors discover hotels and restaurants in the area. He also said the tourism group’s spending on Michelin is worthwhile.
