Miami’s 2026–27 arts calendar includes new installations, a hurricane-history exhibition and an October concert.
At Superblue Miami, James Turrell’s room-sized Blue Sea Sky uses changing fields of color; entry requires a free on-site reservation, offered first-come, first-served. The Bass in Miami Beach is showing Yuko Mohri’s Unviolated Imperfection across three galleries through May 30, 2027. Admission costs $8 to $15, with free entry for children 6 and under.
The Museum of Miami’s exhibition on the 1926 hurricane draws on photographs, newspapers, films and letters. It runs through April 11, 2027, and co-curator Paul S. George is scheduled to lead a one-hour tour on Nov. 21.
On Oct. 3, former American Idol finalist Bo Bice joins Absolute Bands Live! for concerts featuring songs associated with Queen, Def Leppard, Journey and Bon Jovi. Performances are set for 3 and 7 p.m. at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center, with tickets priced from $45 to $71.
