The second ten days of October are drawing to a close, and you have something to be proud of: ideas have turned into real things. Write down the three best finds of the week while they are still fresh in your mind.
Call someone whose voice you haven't heard in a long time, or go to an exhibition together. Talking over your impressions will bring you closer than the usual dinner.
Work out what an hour of your work is worth and compare it with what you usually ask for. The difference will tell you which figure to name on Monday.
Work on a draft purely for your own enjoyment, with no deadline and no reports. A sketch made on a day off could become the basis of a new project.
Treat yourself to a screen-free morning with a paper book, a walk in the park and a cup of tea. Loosen up your wrists and fingers before bed.
