U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff and his Republican reelection challenger, U.S. Rep. Mike Collins, are scheduled to meet Thursday night in their first debate ahead of the 2026 midterms.
The statewide broadcast begins at 7 p.m., with pre-debate coverage at 6:30 p.m. The candidates will appear before a panel of Gray Media journalists. Viewers in metro Atlanta and north Georgia can watch on WANF, channel 46; stations elsewhere in Georgia will also carry the debate. Live and on-demand streaming will be available.
Ossoff is the only Democratic incumbent senator defending a seat this fall in a state Donald Trump won in 2024. The race against Collins could help decide which party controls the U.S. Senate for the next two years.
