The Houston Texans acquired wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. from the Arizona Cardinals in a trade announced after Houston’s 26-3 win over the Tennessee Titans.
Houston received Harrison and a 2027 seventh-round draft pick. Arizona received a 2027 second-round pick and a sixth-round pick in the same draft. The second-rounder is a substantial price for a player whose first two seasons fell short of expectations.
Harrison was the fourth overall pick in his draft. The deal gives Houston another receiving option, while the cost of acquiring him leaves open whether he can deliver enough to justify the trade.
