New York City’s October 2026 calendar includes events tied to Jamaican and Caribbean culture alongside film, food and art.
On October 7, Jamaican-born, New York-based designer Glenroy March is scheduled to showcase his fashion brand at Censored Chapters, Exposed Couture. The event runs from 6 to 8 p.m. on the first floor of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library during Banned Books Week, which runs October 4–10.
The Balloon Museum NYC at 96 South Street is hosting a family-friendly exhibition of large-scale balloon installations from October 1 through January 10, 2027. Other events listed for the month include the Conch Shell International Fest, the New York Film Festival, New York Comic Con and Open House New York.
