Houston’s football team has unveiled 10 hand-painted helmet designs for Saturday’s home game against UCF, the Cougars announced. The designs depict the eight planets, Pluto and the star at the center of the solar system.

Houston said 45 players will wear the star design, while only one helmet was made for Pluto. The number of helmets for each design falls with distance from the center of the solar system.

The No. 20 Cougars are recognizing their city’s ties to space exploration. NASA’s Johnson Space Center was established in Houston in 1961 and remains a hub for human spaceflight. UCF wore space-themed gear in the teams’ previous meeting as part of its annual Space Game. Saturday’s matchup is scheduled for noon ET.
