The Golden State Valkyries have reached the WNBA Finals in their second season after sweeping the defending champion Las Vegas Aces.
Golden State is set to host the Atlanta Dream in Game 1 on Saturday at Chase Center in San Francisco. Tickets for the first two games went on sale Monday evening, and most seats sold out within minutes.
Businesses near the arena are preparing for the games. Splash Sports Bar in Thrive City expects its business to double as fans arrive for the finals. The WNBA has not announced a venue for the games scheduled in Atlanta; a scheduling conflict rules out the 17,000-seat State Farm Arena.
