The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Atlanta Braves 3-1 on Tuesday night, taking a 2-1 lead in their best-of-five National League Division Series. Yoshinobu Yamamoto struck out 10 over seven innings, allowing four hits and one walk.

Kiké Hernández broke through against Atlanta starter Chris Sale with a two-run homer in the fourth, bringing home Andy Pages after his single. Freddie Freeman added a solo homer later that inning. Sale gave up three runs and seven hits in five innings.

Atlanta threatened in the ninth when Ozzie Albies doubled off Edwin Díaz and reached third on a groundout. Díaz kept him there with two more outs. The Dodgers can clinch the series with a win in Wednesday night's Game 4.
