TEXRail reached 1 million rides in 2026 before September ended, its first time hitting that mark in one calendar year, Trinity Metro said.
Announcing the milestone on September 30, the agency said the millionth ride had taken place earlier that week. Its 2026 count had already passed the 906,827 rides Trinity Metro recorded for all of 2025, a total 12% above 2024.
Since TEXRail began service in January 2019, more than 4.8 million customers have traveled on the line, the agency said. Trains run daily on a 27-mile route linking downtown Fort Worth with Terminal B at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, with stops in North Richland Hills and Grapevine.
