Lakeeta Vaccaro testified Wednesday in a Miami-Dade divorce trial that her estranged husband, former Miami Dolphins player Tyreek Hill, abused her after they married. She alleged that he tried to punch her in the stomach while she was pregnant.
Vaccaro described an incident during a trip to Connecticut for an ESPN event. She said she did not want to appear on television because she was pregnant and uncomfortable with her appearance. Hill became angry, she testified, and a confrontation at their hotel turned physical.
On Tuesday, the first day of the civil trial, Vaccaro told jurors that they began dating in 2019 and married on Nov. 8, 2023. She said infidelity and a lack of trust had led to a two-year separation before they reunited.
