Walmart is recalling more than 4.4 million Expert Grill metal wire brushes because bristles could detach and be swallowed, the Consumer Product Safety Commission says.
Loose bristles could remain on a grill or end up in food. Swallowing them could cause serious internal injuries that might require surgery, though the agency says no injuries have been reported.
The brushes were sold in Walmart stores and online from January 2021 through August 2026, with prices ranging from $1 to $28. They have black plastic or stainless steel handles; some have a metal scraper. Consumers should stop using the recalled brushes and contact Walmart for a full refund or store or online credit.
