A demolition permit has been issued for the site of a planned mixed-use building at 6929 N. Sheridan Road in Chicago.
Chicago Equity Partners plans the project at the southeast corner of Sheridan Road and Morse Avenue. The existing building once housed Leona’s Restaurant.
Plans by MC & Associates call for a five-story, 55-foot building with 80 homes and 3,600 square feet of retail space. The project also includes an indoor room with 80 bicycle parking spaces, 16 car spaces along the alley and 25 more in a surface lot behind 1156 W. Farwell Avenue.
