T&T Supermarket is set to open its first San Francisco store on Nov. 5 in Anza Vista’s City Center. The Asian grocery chain will occupy a long-vacant, 50,000-square-foot space.
Its San Jose store is currently T&T’s only location in Northern California. The chain says it is North America’s largest Asian grocer, with a selection that includes live seafood, frozen bao and packaged pastries.
The San Jose location also has sections for hotpot ingredients, ready-to-cook seafood and grab-and-go boba. Its prepared foods include sushi platters and Papa Chicken, a butterflied, deep-fried chicken marinated in garlic and spices. The San Francisco opening will bring the chain into the city for the first time.
