Beau, a 2-year-old pit mix rescued from neglect, is available for adoption through the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office MASH Unit.
Deputies rescued him alongside several other dogs, including Loretta and Ella. The dogs had been kept in small kennels without proper care. MASH Unit deputies say Beau is friendly with people and other animals, while staff say he is neutered and current on his vaccinations.
Adoption is free. To arrange a meeting with Beau or another animal at the unit, call 602-876-1212. More than 100 animals are available for adoption there.
