The Atlanta Braves must beat the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday night to keep their postseason run alive. A 3-1 loss Tuesday left Atlanta facing elimination.
Wednesday’s game is at Truist Park. A Braves win would force a deciding Game 5 in Los Angeles; a loss would end their season. Former Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman homered for the Dodgers in Tuesday’s game.
Atlanta is looking for a timely hit after its Game 3 defeat. Chris Dimino, a host at sports radio station 680 The Fan, said that contribution could come from a pinch hitter or an established star.
A block party at The Battery Atlanta is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. Truist Park gates open at 4 p.m., and first pitch is set for 6 p.m.
