Dreamforce opens with about 50,000 attendees at Moscone Center
Dreamforce 2026 is underway in San Francisco, with about 50,000 people gathering around the Moscone Center as Salesforce’s annual conference begins.
The event is bringing tens of thousands into the city and adding to traffic in several areas after the first day. The conference is also unfolding as debates over the future of artificial intelligence remain a major theme around the industry.
The influx is giving nearby businesses a lift. Hotels, restaurants, coffee shops and other small businesses near Moscone are seeing added activity as visitors arrive, with some establishments reporting they had already grown busier in the days before the conference officially opened.
