The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Atlanta Braves 4-1 in Atlanta on Wednesday night, clinching their National League Division Series three games to one and advancing to a third straight NL Championship Series.
With Game 4 tied 1-1 in the seventh inning, Andy Pages singled up the middle with the bases loaded to drive in two runs. It was the Dodgers’ first hit with runners in scoring position in the series. Max Muncy added a solo home run in the ninth, his third of the postseason, before Edwin Díaz finished the game.
The teams split the first two games at Dodger Stadium, but Los Angeles won both games in Atlanta. The Dodgers, champions in 2024 and 2025, are eight wins from a third consecutive World Series title. No National League franchise has achieved that streak; the Yankees and Athletics are the only MLB franchises to have won at least three in a row.
