Raging River State Forest has opened about five miles of singletrack on two new mountain bike trails, completing a decade of trail construction at the site south of Snoqualmie, Washington.
Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance describes Over and Out as a 2.6-mile intermediate descent on the north side of the trail system. Previously known as Trail E, it gives riders an alternative to the more advanced Poppin Tops descent.
The other addition, Wild Waves, is a 2.5-mile intermediate flow descent on the southwest side. Formerly called Trail C, it starts partway up the Return Policy climbing trail and ends at Way Back.
Evergreen and the Washington Department of Natural Resources began work at Raging River about 10 years ago. The two descents mark the final construction phase described for the forest, roughly 30 miles southeast of Seattle.
