Six gunmen fatally shot Chicago rapper BloodHound Q50 in an early Sunday ambush at a Fuller Park gas station, according to a Chicago police report.

The Cook County medical examiner identified the victim as 22-year-old Mikquale T. Cooper. Police said Cooper had driven a white Tesla to the BP at 4248 S. Wentworth Ave. around 4 a.m. when a black Infiniti with two masked occupants pulled up beside him and a silver Honda Accord with four people arrived moments later.

Police said Cooper and a 29-year-old woman from Matteson entered the station, then the woman moved the Tesla near the entrance and got out, allowing Cooper to get back behind the wheel. Investigators say two gunmen from the Infiniti and four from the Honda then approached the Tesla and opened fire, striking Cooper in the chest and shoulder.

Chicago Fire Department personnel treated Cooper, and the medical examiner's office said he was pronounced dead at 4:35 a.m. Police said the shooters fled south on Wentworth Avenue, some buildings and vehicles were also hit by gunfire, and no arrests had been reported as Area 1 detectives continued to investigate.
