Two former suburban police officers face felony charges over alleged unauthorized searches of Flock license plate reader databases, the DuPage County state’s attorney’s office said. Marisa Ciccola, 30, formerly of the Itasca police, and Gerardo Solis, formerly of the West Chicago police, were indicted in September. Both turned themselves in Tuesday and were released on bond.
Ciccola faces 13 official misconduct counts and eight computer tampering counts. Solis faces an official misconduct charge and one computer tampering count. Prosecutors allege Ciccola conducted unauthorized searches between June 2025 and May 2026; Solis is accused of at least one between Dec. 18, 2024, and Jan. 15, 2025. Both are due back in court Nov. 16.
Their former departments said they would cooperate with investigators. West Chicago has also announced a review of its Flock camera use following the investigation into Solis.
