Police say a suspect is in custody after a 16-year-old was slashed inside a Brooklyn synagogue.
The incident took place Monday evening in Borough Park, where the teenager was attacked during High Holy Days gatherings, according to police.
Police said the 911 call came in at about 7:30 p.m. The synagogue is on 54th Street. Authorities had not released further details in the evidence provided about the victim’s condition or what led up to the assault.
The arrest was reported Tuesday morning. Police described the injured teen as a congregant.
