Actress Selma Blair was taken into custody at John F. Kennedy International Airport after an alleged disturbance aboard a Delta flight from Los Angeles, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey said.
Port Authority police responded after Flight 938 reached a gate at about 11 p.m. on Oct. 11. Blair, 54, was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation. Two flight attendants reported injuries, and one also went to a hospital for further evaluation.
Reports alleged that Blair tried to open a door during the flight, punched one flight attendant and bit another. Blair’s representative said she had a medical emergency and was in stable condition after receiving care following the landing.
Delta said the flight arrived ahead of schedule and the incident did not affect its operation.
