The Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Dallas Cowboys 24-16 on Thursday night at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, earning their first win of the season. Dallas, favored by 9.5 points before the game, fell to 2-3.
The Cowboys entered averaging 30 points per game and scored on their opening possession, but managed just three points over their next seven drives. Dak Prescott completed 24 of 42 passes for 316 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
Dallas later drove 99 yards for a fourth-quarter touchdown after being stopped at the 1-yard line. Its final possession reached Tampa Bay's 33 before linebacker Alex Anzalone intercepted a Prescott pass that bounced off Jake Ferguson, ending the Cowboys' chance to tie the game.
