The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Dallas Cowboys 24-16 on Thursday night, ending a four-game losing start to the season.
Dallas was ahead 10-7 at halftime before Tampa Bay put up 17 points without reply in the third quarter. Bucky Irving ran for 165 yards and scored twice. Rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels went 19-for-25 passing, gaining 189 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions.
Dak Prescott threw two interceptions, the second coming late after a pass was tipped. The loss left Dallas at 2-3. Fans expressed frustration on social media, including over the Cowboys’ inability to stop Irving.
