Georgia’s U.S. Senate and governor candidates are set to take part in televised debates this week, as the state’s voter registration deadline approaches on Monday.
Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff is scheduled to face Republican challenger Rep. Mike Collins in the Senate debate. A prime-time town hall debate for governor candidates is planned a few days earlier.
Both events are scheduled to air live on television stations across Georgia, including WANF channel 46 in metro Atlanta and north Georgia. Live and on-demand streaming will also be available through the station’s news app on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV and smart TVs. Monday is the last day for Georgia residents to register to vote in the upcoming midterm elections.
