All six of Houston’s Michelin-starred restaurants kept their stars in the 2026 Texas guide, while five Houston-area restaurants joined the Bib Gourmand list.
Michelin announced its latest selections on Oct. 8. The Bib Gourmand designation recognizes good cooking at a reasonable price, and the guide also lists restaurants it recommends for quality cooking.
Houston chefs and bartenders received special awards, which recognize work in areas including cocktails, wine service and emerging culinary talent. The city’s recognized restaurants span tasting menus, sushi, Vietnamese noodles and Texas barbecue.
