Several people were shot early Sunday on South Barry Avenue in South Dallas, police said. Authorities said none of the injuries were life-threatening.
Officers responded around 3:10 a.m. to the 1400 block of South Barry Avenue, near Ware Street. Dallas Fire-Rescue took at least three people to a hospital, while others made their own way there.
Investigators believe a driver and someone in a crowd exchanged gunfire. Police said the vehicle then struck a light pole as its driver tried to leave. The circumstances leading to the shooting remain unclear, and police have announced no suspects or arrests.
