The Braves and Dodgers are tied 1-1 in their best-of-five National League Division Series ahead of Tuesday’s Game 3 at Truist Park. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Los Angeles won the opener 5-3, but Atlanta took Sunday’s game 3-2. Two more wins at home would send the Braves through the series. Chris Sale is set to start for Atlanta after the team used 10 relievers for a combined 17 innings across the first two games.
Fans are traveling from outside Georgia for the game. One supporter drove from Winchester, Ohio, and calls himself “Acuña Mania.” He has a wrestling-inspired persona and tattoos honoring Braves outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr.; he said he began following the team while watching its games on TBS in the 1980s.
