Three people were hospitalized after a bee incident at Intel’s campus in Chandler, where fire crews treated 10 people in total on Monday morning.
Chandler Fire Department crews were dispatched around 9 a.m. near Dobson and Ocotillo roads after reports that one person had suffered many bee stings and that other patients also needed help.
According to fire officials, three people were taken to hospitals in stable condition. Seven others were treated at the scene. Officials said they had not yet determined what caused the swarm to become agitated.
The incident happened at the Intel campus in Chandler. No other details about the patients or the cause of the attack were immediately released.
