Kimberly Guilfoyle has resigned as U.S. ambassador to Greece amid misconduct allegations, which she says are false.
Her announcement on Oct. 13 came shortly after White House press secretary Katie Zacharia told reporters that Guilfoyle had been asked to step down. Guilfoyle previously served as a prominent surrogate for Donald Trump’s campaign.
