Milwaukee beat Los Angeles 6-2 on Wednesday night, leaving the Dodgers down 3-0 in the National League Championship Series and one loss from elimination.
The Dodgers briefly led 2-1 in Game 3 after Will Smith doubled with the bases loaded in the sixth inning, driving in two runs. Jake Bauers put the Brewers back in front with a two-run homer off Blake Snell in the seventh. Garrett Mitchell homered in the next at-bat for a 4-2 lead.
Jackson Chourio had opened the game with a home run on the first pitch. Milwaukee added a run on a wild pitch in the eighth, then scored again on a Joey Ortiz single in the ninth. The Dodgers now need a win to keep their postseason run alive.
